What is the relationship between the public and private keys in asymmetric encryption?

They are identical.

One is used to encrypt and the other to decrypt.

They both decrypt the message.

Both the keys encrypt the message.

In asymmetric encryption, a public key encrypts and the corresponding private key decrypts the message.
